Homemade Coleslaw

Coleslaw is really tasty and because of the raw vegetables in the ingredients, it can be really nutritious. The mayonnaise is high fat, but there are loads of variations, some of which don’t include mayonnaise, so try a few out. Just think how much money you would spend on a little pot of coleslaw from a pizza or burger restaurant – get making your own!

Ingredients

  • Small white cabbage
  • 2 carrots
  • 4 spring onions
  • 2 generous tbsp of mayonnaise
  • Black pepper
  • Pinch of mixed herbs

Method

  1. Finely chop the cabbage. Grate the carrots and chop up the spring onions.
  2. Bind the raw ingredients together with the mayonnaise. Add the black pepper and a pinch of mixed herbs and mix together.
  3. Keep in the fridge until ready to serve.
